The
Batcave Wayne Manor. The corner tower/elevator shaft sealed in vinyl was a
prototype from teh factory that was so late in coming it was mailed to the
Museum directly. But it was a thrill to see the whole piece as a proper vinyl
playset.
Anthony
Durso (The Toyroom) was kind enough to send his Batcave, Fortress of Solitude
and Captain Action artwork to me. It was great to see someone else's artowkr
slide into a Dida Panel. Unfortunately I didn't have enought working floorboards
to make a full box, but as you can see here, it made a neat way to extend
the batcave out.
Another
view showing the back of Anthony's Batcave and in the distance the Baxter
building.
The
Baxter Building uses the corner tower to make a three level playset that's
more compact and vertical. I'm excited about this design either as a stand-alone
or a compliment to a larger display.
The
Pirate Ship displayset. The roof peice lifts up and attaches to a wooden dowel
mast to make a sail. Note the Old English Mego Corp logo.
Toyroom's
Fortress of Solitude paired with my hand-made phone booth prototype.
